For the animation emphasis, you must complete several courses in animation, in addition to regular, required Cinema courses. Enrollment in all animation courses requires consent of instructor. Admission to CINE 360 (Animation 1) is limited and requires a Portfolio Review, which is held at the beginning of each Fall. It is highly recommended that all students take a beginning drawing AND a life drawing course prior to the portfolio review. Cinema majors must complete Cine 200 and 202 before applying.
You should consult the information on the animation program posted in the right column, or see Martha Gorzycki for advising on the animation emphasis.
