A YouTube group for sharing and discussion has been set up for the Cinema Department community:

Students, faculty, etc. will need to be logged in to their YouTube account prior to clicking on the "Join This Group" link. A request to join the group will then be sent to the owner of the group (prodcoor@sfsu.edu) who will either approve or delete the request.

Congratulations to SF State Cinema alumnus Charles Yi for winning Stranglehold's John Woo's short film contest. Woo, the acclaimed director, hand-picked Yi's film "Return" among thousands of entries. Yi won $25,000, met Woo, and was featured (along with "Return") on SpikeTV on Aug. 18.
