Overview

Presented by the Race and Resistance Studies Department, Climate HQ, the Environment Resource Center, the School of Cinema Marcus Endowed Chair, the Queer Trans Resource Center, and Haus Blaque at San Francisco State University.

Join us for an amazing grassroots film and workshop. We will screen "Can't Stop Change: Queer Climate Stories from the Florida Frontline," which shares stories of queer and trans resistance, resilience, and brilliance in the face of rising seas, stronger storms and escalating state violence.

Following the film, we will have a Q & A with Natalia Villarán Quiñones, one of the filmmakers. Then Deseree Fontenot from the Queer EcoJustice Project and Movement Generation will lead a fun, interactive workshop that explores ecological diversity, resilience and complexity from a Queer Ecological framework.
