"Artes en Ayacucho,"

Three short films, and a documentary on a legendary aviatrix filmed with help from a Coastside resident, will make interesting Coastside Film Society viewing this week. It begins at 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the Community United Methodist Church at 777 Miramontes St. in Half Moon Bay.

This tribute to Prescott touches on how one person can make a difference in this world. The comments from those who knew him remind us how most of us go through life doing small things, but in Prescott’s case those efforts motivated by his love of film, especially animation, resulted in his being a remarkable man. Rather than find a more practical way to make a living, he devoted his energies to making the International Tournee of Animation a success.
